Forrest E. Williams, Jr. has been in the financial services industry since 1993.
Forrest is an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial and is also registered with the State of Virginia as an Insurance Consultant. He works primarily in the areas of asset management, corporate retirement plans, and is the Senior Wealth Consultant for our firm.
Forrest received his bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in 1983 and remains an ardent supporter of Old Dominion University athletics. He currently holds the CFPA (Certified Retirement Plan Fiduciary Advisor) and CFS (Certified Fund Specialist) designations. Recently, Forrest has been engaged in consulting with the AgeLab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and participated on several panels at their meetings and in their research. Locally he has appeared on WTKR-TV and WVEC-TV commenting on investment strategy during trying times. Forrest has been quoted in numerous magazines on various investment topics and has also served on several national advisory boards for one of the leading insurance and investment firms in the country. He also holds his Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 investment licenses through LPL Financial.
Forrest is very active in the community. He served as Past President of the oldest and largest Kiwanis Club in Hampton Roads – The Kiwanis Club of Norfolk and remains currently active in his Kiwanis Club. He has also served as President of the Norfolk Kiwanis Foundation. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Westminster Canterbury Foundation and is a member of The Board of Trustees at Westminster Canterbury on the Chesapeake Bay. He recently served as the Treasurer for The Norfolk Forum. He is a 1999 alumnus of Leadership Hampton Roads and has served on the Board of Directors of the Old Dominion University Alumni Association. He is currently a member of Bayville Golf Club. He is also a member of the Golf Digest Rating Panelist Board-where he performs ratings of premier golf courses all over the country. Forrest has also been very active with numerous athletic associations that his children were involved in as a coach and mentor.
Forrest resides in Virginia Beach with his lovely wife Dr. Allison Ashe. Between them, they have five wonderful children. His personal interests include travel, golf, boating and spending time with friends.
