Chris followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the financial industry in 2005. Ironically, Chris’ father retired as an advisor with our current broker/dealer—LPL Financial. Chris is now an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL.
Chris works with individuals and families as well as business owners in helping them chart their financial course. He holds his Series 6, 63, 65 and 7 investment licenses held by LPL Financial. Additionally, he has the role as the firm’s chief investment strategist—researching the latest investment trends and products.
Chris received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Florida in 2005. He immediately started in the financial services industry and continued his education by earning the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation, and the Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor designation, conferred by College for Financial Planning.. In 2011 he earned the standard of excellence in financial planning---the Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP).
He is active in the community. He served as a board member of the Portsmouth Supplemental Retirement Board. He is currently involved in high school athletics refereeing scholastic basketball games in Hampton Roads. He is a coach and mentor for his son’s baseball team.
Chris resides in Chesapeake with his wife Brittany, an elementary school teacher in Chesapeake, and his two active children. An avid sports fan, he also enjoys hiking and camping with his family and traveling with their friends.
